Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi

GoodReads Summary: It's been months since Aria last saw Perry. Months since Perry was named Blood Lord of the Tides, and Aria was charged with an impossible mission. Now, finally, they are about to be reunited. But their reunion is far from perfect. The Tides don't take kindly to Aria, a former Dweller. And with the worsening Aether storms threatening the tribe's precarious existence, Aria begins to fear that leaving Perry behind might be the only way to save them both.

Threatened by false friends, hidden enemies, and powerful temptations, Aria and Perry wonder, Can their love survive through the ever night?

Through the Ever Night takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride that leaves you with ALL THE FEELS.
In Through the Ever Night, Perry and Aria are faced with many challenges. Rossi pushes these characters to their limits and you can see just how much they've developed/are still developing in TTEN. Perry is now the Blood Lord of the Tides and with that comes deep responsibility for the well-being of his people. Not everyone thinks he's a suitable leader though, especially when he brings along Aria.
One of my favourite aspects of this series is the relationships and character dynamics. Aria has grown so much since UTNS, she can fight, stand up for herself and is no longer a naive Dweller.
Charming and hilarious as always, Roar plays a bigger role in TTEN and I'm so glad as he is one of my favourite characters. I loved the relationship between him and Aria, the two spend quite a bit of time together and become really close. Rossi has created a beautiful friendship and I admire her for showing that a guy and a girl can be just be friends.
The romance is just as steamy and as full of sparks as it was in UTNS. BUT. While there is great chemistry between the pair, they face many obstacles that are determined to keep them apart...
Through the Ever Night was one of my most anticipated sequels of 2013 and I'm happy to say it did not disappoint!

Oh my goodness, YES YES YES!! This makes me SO happy. I hate that we rarely ever see this. If a girl has a close relationship with a guy other than her main love interest, then it becomes a damn triangle. Bless Veronica Rossi <3

I am SO effing jealous that you've read this, but your review has left me with ALL THE FEELS, so I can forgive you :) Beyond excited to reunite with Perry and Aria and EEEEE! So happy that you loved this!

  15. I just finished Under the Never Sky yesterday and was so happy with it! It makes me even happier that I have a copy of this one on its way from Atom. I seriously think I'll love it, as long as the relationship drama isn't TOO angsty, but I trust Rossi to handle it well.
    Great review.

  17. This is exactly the type of review I was hoping TTEN would get! I loved UTNS and cannot wait for this one! I'm so, so, so excited! I'm glad to hear that the characters are developing - after all, that's one way the author puts a more realistic feel into the novel - and that Roar plays a big part! I <3 him, so YAY! :D Thanks to your brilliant review, I am more excited for this than ever! Can't wait 'till January!

  20. Fantastic review, Renu! I loooved the first book and while I didn't love this one as much as the first book, it was SO close! I agree that Aria and Perry's relationship went through so much more in this one and the incorporation of Roar as a main character was incredible! I can't WAIT for the final installment now! :D

  22. Yesss. Aweesome review :D So glad that you loved this book as well. <3 I just read it, and it was perfect. But omg. It was so heartbreaking and evil as well. I wanted a bit more romance between Aria and Perry. And I kind of hated that she spent so much time alone with Roar :( I mean, just that two weeks trip they did in this book was longer that the time she has spent with Perry. Kind of. Anyway. I do like Roar. I just, well, I got jealous for Perry. And it upset me a bit. But yeah. I still gave this book a five star, cause it was amazing :D Glad you loved it. <3

  27. Ooooh yay for Roar! I loved him so much in the first book, and I am very happy they stay friends and there's no love triangle, because I think I would have cried if that happened. Fab review, really can't wait to read this one!
