Posted by Renu at 06:07
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga over at Tynga Reviews.

For review:

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters

 Bought:

Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
I've heard nothing but good things about this one. Looking forward to starting it!

Oblivion (The Power of Five #5) by Anthony Horowitz
I have been waiting 3 years for the release of this book! I've already read it, and it was an amazing to an amazing series!

This wasn't perfect by any means, it was more of a guilty pleasure read.

Have you read/do you plan to read any of these books? :)

YAY JOHN GREEN <3 I had troubles writing my review for TFiOS too haha. It's such an incredible story. If you liked this one, you should definitely check out Looking for Alaska, which is one of my favorite books ever! And I can't wait to see what you think of Jellicoe Road. I've been hearing wonderful things about it too, though I have yet to pick it up! Enjoy your pretties :)

Jellicoe Road is one of my favourite books of all time. I really can't wait to see what you make it! And In the Shadow of Blackbirds sounds amazing! I may be tempted to pick it up soon actually. ;) Also really looking forward to your review of TFiOS. I have still yet to read a John Green book...

Great haul, lovely! I hope you enjoy your new books.

I haven't read anything by Abbi Glines or John Green and I know that is an epic mistake. I've heard such fabulous things about both of the, and I've been seeing Abbi Glines's books around a ton lately, so I need to give them a try! Enjoy your awesome book haul Renu!

Oh, I'm glad you hear you liked Cinders and Sapphires! I haven't watched Downton Abbey yet (I know), but I've heard amazing things, so if that is similar I may have to give it a shot. I also hope you enjoy In the Shadow of Blackbirds - that sounds pretty good, but I'm instantly wary of anything pitching itself as creepy, considering I have a high standard for creepiness. I also still need to get around to reading A Fault in Our Stars and Jellicoe Road! I've heard nothing but glowing things about both. Enjoy your books!

TFIOS knocked me sideways like a cast iron pan slapping away a jelly tower. I honestly do not know if I could ever right a review that would be more intelligible than, "asdfghjkl." I've had plenty of time to think and reread the book but, yea, I think there are some stories that affect you so greatly they can't really be reviewed traditionally? :)
